Tales of entries to our shoots

All of our shoots are now oversubscribed early on and we operate a waiting list when fully booked

Because archers book into our shoot so far in advance they sometimes forget that they have other commitments that can pop up

The most famous entry we ever had that was cancelled was by an archer who “forgot” that our shoot was on the same weekend that he was due to get married, for some reason he felt he had to cancel his entry

We had a late entry from a couple in Peterborough who called to see if we had any places at 9:30 on the Friday evening the day before our weekend shoot

It was their wedding anniversary and as both were field archers the wife decided that they should to come to Toad Hollow as a treat as they had nothing local that weekend

They drove over 350 miles overnight and arrived just in time to have a short rest before shooting started
